VanEck actively managed municipal ETF of ETFs
VanEck is listing an actively managed fund of funds that invests in VanEck-owned municipal bond ETFs.
The VanEck Vectors Municipal Allocation ETF (MAAX) will invest in both investment grade and junk munibond ETFs, and use a proprietary model to pick between them.
The model will look at “technical, macroeconomic, and sentiment indicators to generate allocation signals,” the prospectus says. Beyond that the prospectus doesn’t give away too much.
VanEck offers six muni bond ETFs in its product suite. The fees on which range from 0.20% to 1.66%.
