ULTUMUS announces appointment of new Global Head of Sales
ULTUMUS, specialists in the distribution of Index & ETF composition data using market-leading technology, is pleased to announce the appointment of Giles Sarton as its new Global Head of Sales with immediate effect.
Giles will be responsible for determining ULTUMUS's overall sales strategy and increasing offerings to both existing and new clients. Giles will oversee marketing, strategic business partnerships and sales and will report into Bernie Thurston, ULTUMUS's CEO.
Giles joins from IHS Markit/DeltaOne Solutions, where his role as DeltaOne Solutions Global Head of Sales since April 2011, saw him responsible for global marketing and sales of benchmark products. Prior to this he was responsible index management services at Markit from 2002.
Commenting on the new appointment, Bernie said: "Giles brings valuable know-how to ULTUMUS and will be an asset to the management team. His knowledge of the product and international experience will be invaluable as we look to define more innovative solutions for our clients and grow our presence globally."
